Professional Experience

Alorica

2nd Largest Call Center/BPO in the World

  • Conceived and developed entirely on my own initiative, the Guardian Angel Program was a groundbreaking solution for one of the world’s largest BPOs. Self-taught in a proprietary system with no formal training available, I personally created a comprehensive dashboard that centralized workflows, analytics, and employee engagement tools for over 900 employees at my location alone.

This program was not a company-sponsored project but a personal innovation designed to address inefficiencies I identified. It improved KPIs by 31%, and achieved over $300,000 in annual cost savings. Leadership, including the company’s Vice President, recognized its transformative impact, and custom dashboards I developed empowered managers with actionable insights across departments.

The Guardian Angel Program exemplifies my ability to identify challenges, self-learn complex tools, and deliver impactful solutions beyond the scope of my official responsibilities.

  • I identified a critical gap in the onboarding process for new hires: the time-to-proficiency lag and the strain it placed on regular managers. In response, I designed and implemented the Nesting Program, a comprehensive two-week training system that accelerated new hire productivity by 43%.

This program paired new hires with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in line for management roles, providing close supervision and mentorship in a real-world production environment. By removing the training burden from regular managers, the program not only boosted team morale but also ensured new hires entered production fully prepared.

With a focus on continuous improvement, I actively gathered feedback through surveys and implemented changes, creating a supportive and stress-free transition for over 840 agents during my tenure.

Block Advisors

The Premiere Arm of H&R Block

  • Taxes shouldn’t be a source of stress for individuals or business owners. At Block Advisors, I provided tailored advice to every client, whether personal or business, offering best practices, scenario-based planning, and organizational strategies designed to optimize financial outcomes.

From advising small businesses on tax-efficient structures to helping individuals organize and streamline their filings, I ensured clients were fully prepared for every tax season. By simplifying the complex and addressing each unique need, I enabled clients to focus on their goals with confidence and clarity.

  • Staying ahead of tax changes is critical for today’s businesses. At Block Advisors, I ensured clients were always compliant by keeping up with evolving tax codes and applying them to their advantage.

Through detailed analysis and innovative solutions, I provided peace of mind and financial benefits, helping small business owners thrive in a competitive market.

Crew Carwash

11th Best Place to Work in the US (Glassdoor)

  • I was deeply committed to team development, regularly attending the "Associate of the Year" awards to recognize outstanding team members. Many of the employees I trained were honored for their exemplary performance across all locations in Indiana, a testament to the effectiveness of my leadership and training methods. My ability to mentor and inspire the team was an essential part of Crew's continued success and customer satisfaction.

  • I took the initiative to create and implement spreadsheets designed to automate and streamline daily operations, improving communication between departments and locations. These tools allowed for more accurate tracking of responsibilities, and proprietary KPI’s, which in turn enhanced overall location efficiency. My efforts were recognized by corporate leadership, and I was appointed to travel to other Crew Carwash locations to train teams on utilizing these tools for greater operational success.

Cumberland Pointe

336 Unit Complex offering upscale living

  • Trained directly out of high school and rapidly certified for EPA Type 1 and 2, I quickly became a top performer, so much so that the company’s decision to acquire the property was contingent on my continued involvement. I maintained a 24-hour work order guarantee and introduced initiatives to improve organization and communication, setting new standards for service quality and operational efficiency. My proactive leadership ensured the smooth transition during the buyout while enhancing the overall performance of the property.

  • Focused on fostering a positive and engaging living experience for residents, earning selection for the Indiana Apartment Association (IAA) Prodigy Awards Dinners multiple times. Frequently requested by residents for maintenance needs, demonstrating a reputation for reliability and professionalism. Spearheaded campaigns to improve online ratings and organized community events like chili cook-offs and movie nights, fostering tenant engagement and retention while enhancing the property’s reputation. Delivered high-quality maintenance solutions with a personal touch, ensuring tenant needs were consistently met.

Personal Experience

1972 Cutlass

  • At 16 I was able to purchase my first car, and with the help of my parents following behind my non-functioning taillights, I somehow made it home.

  • Lots of forum browsing and YouTube helped me to understand how older vehicles work, and how to fix my carburetor, as well as my drum brakes, lines, and way too many more items to list.

  • Anyone who owns an older car in need of restoration will tell you that its more of a marathon than a sprint. Even after 10 years, there’s more to be done than I could possibly list. But I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Off-Grid Life

  • After years of research on zoning laws, county-specific ordinances, and a lot of luck, I was able to purchase my own parcel of land in full and begin the daunting task of living off-grid in the middle of the desert.

  • After creating and submitting all my required documentation, I began clearing and grading the land. I learned how to use heavy machinery, and began the process of building the home itself and making it mine.

  • I taught myself solar installation using my previous electrical expertise, complete with batteries and a whole home inverter. I am able to support my gaming habits, along with keeping the AC at whatever I want, guilt free!

First Home

  • While I was not yet old enough to drink, I managed to purchase my first home in 2015. After years of searching for suitable HUD homes in my area, I was lucky enough to find a great fit for my needs- but it needed work.

  • The hours I spent at Cumberland paid off, as I gutted the entire home to studs and re-did all my insulation and electrical work, along with drywall, tiles, carpets, and more. No inch of the home went untouched over the years I lived there. The blood, sweat, and tears were all a part of the final sale!

  • During early 2020, I was presented an opportunity to realize my sweat equity due to increased property values. I chose to pursue my dreams of moving back west, and trying to live sustainably and off-grid.

Work Ethic

  • I have always enjoyed working with my hands, and love learning things as I do them. Whether its learning how to operate a tractor, manage commercial hydraulics, or working on my Cutlass, I really enjoy being able to grasp concepts immediately in front of me and watching them at work.

  • Ever since my Dad had me using a flight simulator at 3 years old, I have never went without a computer. I pride myself on being one of the most technologically knowledgeable and versatile people that I know, and I value being able to offer my expertise to others- whether it is making Netflix work for my Grandma, or showing a friend how to host a local LLM on their machine for AI. Or downloading all of Wikipedia. (True Story)

  • Part of what drives me is a need for excellence, and an (admittedly) bad habit of being overly self sufficient. Growing up an only child, with a mother who worked a lot, instilled in me the mantra of “If you want it done, you better do it yourself”. This contributes to my strong drive to be self-taught on a wide range of subjects, and to always improve existing frameworks or SoP’s in the places which I work.
